"Stay far away from these people, and state farm in general. They took off my home insurance before July 2nd (my closing day for my home I was buying) without informing me, and when I did learn about the cancelation it was from a PARTIAL check of the amount I paid for. Almost 300$ of my money missing, and they say; "Well we still insured the home up until the 30th." Which doesnt make any sense, I DID NOT OWN THE HOUSE YET. Why are you insuring it before the closing date? We informed you people every time we moved the closing date so that you knew when to insure the home. But you decided to insure it when I did not even own it yet, which is illegal. I called them before we closed to inform them I was moving insurance for home and auto, since I need insurance to close and you guys had no problem reimbursing me my 40$ for auto, but did not want to give me my $300 for home. Which you canceled anyways by the time I asked for all coverage to be removed. Everytime I call and bring up this issue, they have no problem playing hot potato with me passing me around to your other agents because you don't want to actually solve the issue, while informing me they would "look into it and call me back." Ive heard this every time I call, and guess what? I never get a callback and I the issue is still at large. I will contact an attorney if I do not get my money back, Its been over a month trying to get this resolved. State farm is a great company, if you just need insurance on paper, otherwise they are awful if you actually need to use their services. When my issue is resolved this review will be removed."

"My wife and I had a great time chatting and setting up our new policy with Luke at this agency! He answered all our questions and helped to make sure it would suit us and our needs well. "Insurance isn't fun and for me is often a point of stress. Al Shattuck's office is so different from any other insurance company I've ever dealt with. When I call, they are there to listen and help me, these people actually care and they act like it. I'm always treated with kindness and respect and they go above and beyond to answer my questions and put my mind at ease. I'd like to mention Zach and Vanessa specifically as two people who have taken the time to help me, answer my questions, and explain things to me. They provide me options with no pressure, I don't feel like I'm being "sold" a policy just so they get commission. I feel like they genuinely want to help me as best as they can. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for honest answers and people who truly want to help. Thanks to everyone in the office!!! You are ALL amazing!"

"They disabled my auto-pay, declined to inform me I'd lapsed, tripled my rates on reactivation....and somehow still managed to screw it up by refusing to draw the first payment of the new policy. Now I'll be uninsured again because, for whatever reason, these guys apparently have made the decision that I'll never drive again. This is an absolutely legendary level of incompetence which has officially cost them my business for life. You literally had one job. Take money. Even a child knows how. EDIT: I managed to make some headway today with a phone call. If that had worked last Friday, during the waning part of their business hours, there may be more stars here. But after explaining it to me, I'm angrier than ever. When I called in about the second attempt to invalidate my policy by sending the cancelation letter, they informed me that it was only because they never asked me how many times a week it'd be for my job? Hmmmk. So we got that handled, right? Wrong. Because although I had them on the phone and was ironing out the last details of this debacle, and insistent that the auto pay be preserved, they opted not to tell me autopay is automatically disabled if anything like that happened. And so I believe I'm covered, right? Good thing I waited. This is the single worst experience I've ever had with any kind of insurance agency. And it has tripled my rates despite an outstanding driving record and prompt payment for I honestly don't know how many years. I just don't care what the problem was. I care that I got screwed after years and years of loyal patronage. That's what I'm going to remember."
