Happy July! Our office will be CLOSED July 4th and 5th in observance of Independence Day!

I was born in Lansing MI, right in between Detroit and Grand Rapids. My experience at my office taught me how to provide the proper protection for our customers, ranging from auto insurance, homeowner’s insurance, renter’s insurance, life insurance, and financial services. Before opening Al Shattuck State Farm, I worked as a Team Member for State Farm for several years. I attended college at Ferris State University. I am a Marine Corps Veteran and served in Fallujah, Iraq from 2006-2007.

I enjoy spending time outdoors in Mason, MI. In the summer, I take advantage of our lakes and trails with my wife, three daughters and son. I enjoyed growing up in Michigan, I enjoy hunting in my spare time. I still like to keep up with and support our local sports teams. I support our local youth teams including Connect Sports, an organization by my local Church.

My State Farm Insurance office is in Owosso, MI. We opened our doors in December of 2012. I feel blessed to be in Owosso, which is such a welcoming community. I really enjoy Shiawassee County and everything it has to offer. I am excited for the opportunity to help customers with insurance and financial services to help prepare them for life’s unexpected.
